Models

I decided to start working with filters. Filters are use to change and modify the visual perception and I´m just going to play with them.
My first filter has been one very simple and geometric:

Maybe a fold...

And later something more organic and with movement, this model could be modified and open other "windows" in anywhere (I want to do a gif to show this).

Then I though in create or construct some scene, with no scale, just using paper and its materiality. I wanted to have now tridimensionality shapes.

For the geometric filter I found this kind of construction in youtube and I wanted to try it, it helped me so much to understand some situations:

Later, the organic part...mariamallo always helps me so much!:

Introducing my character

This is L. B. Jefferies (James Stewart), the main character of the Hitchcock´s film Rear Window. He is a photograph, and because of an accident he has to stay the hole summer at home, with no movements.

His girlfriend Lisa (Grace Kelly) and Stella (Thelma Ritter), his nurse, are visiting him several times at day just to take care of him and because they are starting to get worried because of his behavior...

Just for not being bored, Jefferies spends a lot of time watching throw the window spying to his neighbors, each of them has really interesting stories to tell, although some of them shouldn´t be told...

As he has to stay on the wheelchair, his outlook is perfect to not be seeing in many occasions, so he has to do only one movement to be hidden under the shadow of his window. This is not happening with his girlfriend, whose outlook is higher.

Being an "spy" has become the entertainment of Jefferies, and Hitchcock is for me a reference to start with my project. I needed a "start point" to begin with, something useful for me, and I think that "spying" could be one of them.
